May 26, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1145-98 Listings and Disclosure Group 4/F Philippine Stock Exchange Center PSE Center, Exchange Road Ortigas, Pasig City Attention: Disclosure Department Gentlemen : Pursuant to the requirements of the Revised Securities Act, we wish to advise the Philippine Stock Exchange that in the Annual Stockholders' Meeting of the Philippine National Bank hold on May 26, 1999, the PNB stockholders took up and approved the following matters: A. Deferment of the election of directors of PNB to give the incoming administration the opportunity to nominate the persons who will occupy the directorial positions in the Bank representing the Government.
