May 26, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1126-98 SUBJECT : Manila Electric Company Manila Electric Company ("MER") furnished the Exchange a copy of the Court of Appeals Resolution in C.A.-G.R. SP No. 46888, MER versus Energy Regulatory Board, et al, promulgated on May 20, 1998. Said resolution grants the company its Petition for the Issuance of a Writ of Preliminary Injunction . The writ enjoins the ERB from implementing its decision which required the company to reduce its rates and refund its "excess collections".
