Items reported herein: Item 9-Other Matters Metro Pacific Corporation ("MPC") has today agreed to accept the subscription of Metro Pacific Holdings, Inc. ("MPHI") for 200,294,118 new common shares at a subscription price of approximately P2.076 per share. The subscription is to replace an equivalent number of common shares sold by MPHI on April 14, 1999, as announced by MPC on that date. The subscription is at approximately the same price as the shares previously sold by MPHI, the proceeds from which were initially remitted to MPC by way of an advance, and which will now be converted into deposit on shares subscription.
