May 14, 1999 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1097-99 SUBJECT : Unionbank of the Philippines Additional Listing The Exchange approved the application of UNIONBANK OF THE PHILIPPINES to list additional 109,592,506 common shares , with a par value of P10 . 00 per share , to cover the 1 : 4 . 03 pre-emptive rights offering to stockholders of record as of December 4, 1997 at an offer price of P18 . 25 per share . Cdphil However, due to the fractional shares amounting to 4,342 common shares that were accumulated from the distribution of the 1:4.03 pre-emptive rights offering to the stockholders entitled thereto, the aforesaid shares were reduced to 109,588,164 common shares .
