Ong Vice President Listings and Disclosure Group Gentlemen : In compliance with the PSE rules on disclosures, Petrofields formally issues the following statement in connection with the company's interest in the Etame Permit area in the Offshore Gabon, West Africa. Petrofields Corporation assigned 10% of its 14.525% Working Interest in the Etame Permit of Sasol Petroleum International of South Africa. Under the Deed of Assignment and Assumption executed by both parties, Petrofields will have a full carried position in the drilling of the Etame No. 1 well and partial carry on future costs to develop any discovery field within the permit area.
