May 19, 1998 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 1065-98 SUBJECT : Metro Pacific Corporation Metro Pacific Corporation ("MPC") confirmed to the Exchange, in a letter dated May 18, 1998, a news article published in the May 14, 1998 issue of the Business World, which reported that Universal Rightfield Property Holdings, Inc. ("UP"), is having talks with other companies, including MPC, for a possible partnership. MPC in said letter explained that: ". . . following an approach made by DMCI, preliminary discussions have been held regarding a possible investment in Universal Rightfield.
