PSE Centre, Exchange Road Ortigas Center, Pasig City RE : Disclosure of Current Events Gentlemen : Please be informed that in the Special Board of Directors' Meeting held today, Tuesday, 12 May 1998 at 9:00 A.M. at DMCI Holdings, Inc. Board Room, 3rd Floor, Dacon Building, 2281 Pasong Tamo, Extension, Makati City, majority of the members of the Board of Directors constituting a quorum unanimously approved and authorized Management of the Corporation to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Leighton Contractors (Asia), Ltd., wherein the latter shall undertake initial review and assessment of the Panian Coal Project of Somirara Coal Corporation leading to the submission of a joint venture proposal regarding the development and operation of the said Panian project.
