Gentlemen : Please be informed that the Annual Stockholders Meeting of the Company cannot be held on 28 May 1999, as earlier disclosed to the Exchange in the Company's communication dated 08 April 1999, because the Company still needs additional time to complete the audit of its subsidiaries and to prepare the required documentary reports thereof. Management has decided to defer the Annual Stockholders' Meeting from 28 May 1999 to 30 June 1999 at 9:00 a.m.. Management, however, has not yet decided on the venue for the meeting but the same will be disclosed to the Commission as soon as the said venue has been fixed. llcd In connection with the foregoing, please note that the record date of stockholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting is set on 31 May 1999 subject to the approval of the same by the Philippine Stock Exchange.
