Exchange Road, Ortigas Center Pasig City Attention : Compliance and Regulatory Group Gentlemen : We wish to advise the Philippine Stock Exchange that the PNB Board of Directors in its meeting held today, February 4, 1998, elected Mr. Ricardo G. Nepomuceno, Jr. as Director to replace Mr. Romeo L. Bernardo who has resigned effective February 4, 1998. cdpr Pursuant to the BSP Rules on the election of Directors, the assumption of Mr. Nepomuceno shall be subject to the approval of the BSP Monetary Board.
