January 7, 2000 PSE CIRCULAR FOR BROKERS NO. 041-00 SUBJECT : Philippine Tobacco Flue-Curing and Redrying Corporation Further to Circular for Brokers No. 3123-99 dated December 8, 1999, Philippine Tobacco Flue-Curing and Redrying Corporation ("TFC") furnished the Exchange a copy of its SEC Form 34-C (Definitive Information Statement), including its 1999 Annual Report, in connection with its Annual Stockholders' Meeting which will be held on January 27, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the principal office of the Corporation located at 802 A. Bonifacio Street, Balintawak, Quezon City. The agenda for the meeting-shall-be as follows: 1. Call to Order 2. Proof of Notice and Quorum 3. Adjournment The close of business on December 21, 1999 has been fixed as the record date for the determination of the stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, said meeting and any adjournment thereof. All stockholders who do not expect to attend the meeting in person may send their proxies to the Corporation at least ten (10) days before the date of the meeting, or not later than Monday, January 17, 2000.
