Garcia Compliance & Surveillance Gentlemen : RE : 1988-1989 Tax Assessments Further to our letter of 01 April 1997 on the same subject matter, please be advised that Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation (MVC) received last Monday, January 26, 1998 the related final tax assessment notices from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Revenue Region No. 8, Makati City reiterating deficiency income taxes for the said years. LLjur As in the previous pre-assessment notice, MVC is filing a protest again not only on the ground that the assessment is erroneous, but the same has in fact already prescribed.
