January 5, 2001 PROCLAMATION NO. 4 2 9-A AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 4 2 9 ISSUED ON DECEMBER 21, 2000, ENTITLED "CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THEPHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION" Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby call the Congress of the Philippines to a Special Session from January 8 to 12, 2001 to urgently consider the passage of the following vital legislative measures on: Elevating the Rank of Court of Tax Appeals; Amending the Tariff Rates on Various Tariff Headings Under Section 104 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines; Shift of Customs Valuation; and Optimum Revenue Performance Through Lateral Attrition, in addition to the vital legislative measures enumerated in Proclamation No. 429 issued on December 21, 2000.
