March 28, 1967 PROCLAMATION NO. 186 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 2 TO 8, 1967, AS "TAX CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK" WHEREAS, it is the civic obligation and patriotic duty of every citizen to pay his just taxes promptly; and STEacI WHEREAS, there is need of instilling among our citizenry greater consciousness of their obligation and underscoring the taxpayer's role in economic progress and nation building; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from April 2 to 8, 1967, as "Tax Consciousness Week" under the auspices of the Department of Finance. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. DONE in the City of Manila, this 28th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Seven.
