November 3, 1976 PROCLAMATION NO. 1596 DECLARING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1976, AS FURNITURE MONTH WHEREAS, the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines will hold a joint National and Asian Convention on November 22 to 24, 1976; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus national attention on the vital role of the industry in the development of our country; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of November, 1976, as "Furniture Month" under the auspices of the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines. acd IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. DONE in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Six.
