National Fund Campaign of the Malacañang Heritage Foundation

October 24, 1997 PROCLAMATION NO. 1122 AUTHORIZING THE MALACAANG HERITAGE FOUNDATION (MHF) TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WHEREAS, the Malacaang Heritage Foundation (MHF) a non-stock non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 15 January 1993 (SEC Registration No. ANQ 93-00330) is mandated to preserve the cultural integrity of Malacaang Palace and provide educational and cultural experience for all visitors to Malacaang; and, WHEREAS, the MHF needs to undertake fund raising activities to augment its income for its operating and maintenance expenses and thereby eliminate the need to request subsidies from various agencies. NOW, THEREFORE, I FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Malacaang Heritage Foundation (MHF) to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation. For this purpose, all donations received by the Malacaang Heritage Foundation for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all tax exemption and deductibility benefits pursuant to Section 29 of the National Revenue Code, as amended, and its implementing rules and regulations. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
