May 11, 1987 PROCLAMATION NO. 105 DECLARING AUGUST 8 OF EVERY YEAR AS "LUPON DAY" IN LUPON DAVAO ORIENTAL WHEREAS, August 8 marks the foundation anniversary of the Municipality of Lupon, Davao Oriental; and WHEREAS, the residents of Lupon, Davao Oriental, should be given opportunity to celebrate the event with fitting ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare August 8 of every year as "Lupon Day" in Lupon, Davao Oriental. The day however, shall be a regular working and school day. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. cd i DONE in the City of Manila, this 11th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Seven.
