February 11, 1985 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 05-85 SUBJECT : Extension of the Authority and Responsibility of the Special Task Force for Monitoring of Investigation of Business Tax Returns under Revenue Memorandum Order No. 38-84, Dated November 8, 1984 TO : All Revenue Regional Directors, Revenue District Officers, and Chiefs of the Special Investigation Unit The Service Chief and All Division Chiefs Sector Operations Office The Chiefs of the Collection Office and Tax Fraud Division All Others Concerned In view of the poor compliance by the regional offices in the implementation of Revenue Memorandum Order No. 38-84, dated November 8, 1984, relative to the submission of accomplishment and status reports on the investigation of Business Tax Returns for 1983 and investigated prior years the Special Task Force (STF) created under RSO No. 87-84 dated October 12, 1984 is hereby directed to continue its monitoring of the results of fields investigations and to perform all the other functions relative to its creation up to June 30, 1985.
