NCR to NCR, Bulacan to Bulacan, Nueva Ecija to Nueva Ecija etc.) ** Inter-Land when a parcel is mailed from a certain province and deliverable to another province, the conveyance/transport of mail is by land (Ex. NCR to Pampanga, Laguna to Bicol, Nueva Ecija to Rizal etc.) *** Inter-Air when a parcel is mailed from a certain city/municipality or province and deliverable to another city/municipality or province, the conveyance/transport of mail is by air (Ex. From any point of Luzon to Vis/Min, Palawan, Batanes, San Jose Occ. or vice-versa) Anent to this and pursuant to PHLPost Board Resolution No. 2016-63 dated 15 August 2016 , the computation/application of postage rates shall be based on the actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher for all kinds of parcels (Domestic/DEMS Parcel, IEMS Merchandise, Air Parcel, SAL and Surface Parcels) that exceed the maximum size limit/dimension of Length + Girth = 3m (PHLPost Circular No. 16-45 dated 24 June 2016 ). Volumetric weight shall be determined, as follows: Formula: Volumetric weight = Length x Width x Height 5000 (standard dimensional weight divisor) 1. From the computed volumetric weight, deduct 20 kgs (the maximum weight for Dom. Parcel) (ex. 31.6 kg - 20 kg = 11.6 kg) 2. Multiply P51.75/kg for Domestic parcel to the derived difference (1); (ex. 51.75 x 11.6 kg = P600.00) 3. Get the applicable postage rate for the 20 kgs parcel from the POSTAGE RATE TABLE . Add the rate of the 20 kgs. and the product (2) (20 kgs. Dom Parcel to Davao = P1,300 + 600.00 = P1900.00) 4. Collect the total postage for the parcel, whichever rate is higher between actual weight and volumetric weight. SDAaTC Likewise, the computation/application of postage rates. Clients with existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or that have been granted special discounts prior to the effectivity of this Administrative Order shall continue to avail of the agreed rate until the expiration of the contract/agreement. Area Directors shall make sure that this Administrative Order is widely disseminated to all post offices. Support Service Managers and Postmasters shall make sure that Postal Tellers are updated and provided with this revised rates. Postmasters and Marketing officers shall start informing the customers about the implementation of this revised rates.
