January 27, 1998 PASAY ORDINANCE NO. 1048-98 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 62-B ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 20 OF PASAY CITY ORDINANCE NO. 241 SERIES OF 1993 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE PASAY CITY REVENUE CODE Sponsored by: All Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 241, Series of 1993, Section 62-B Article III of Pasay City Revenue Code originally provides garbage service charges as follows: "For every building where the business is located with aggregate area of: 1,000 sq. Meters or more P6,000.00/annum 500 sq. Meters or more but less than 1,000 sq. M 3,600.00/annum 200 sq. Meters or more but less than 500 sq. M 2,640.00/annum 100 sq. Meters or more but less than 200 sq. M 1,920.00/annum 50 sq. Meters or more but less than 100 sq. M 1,200.00/annum 25 sq. Meters or more but less than 200 sq. M. 480.00/annum Less than 25 sq. Meters 144.00/annum WHEREAS, the increasing costs of garbage collection has lately been skyrocketing and the volume itself has been multiplying in geometric proportions; WHEREAS, to address such increasing problems, additional resources in equipment and manpower will have to be harnessed, and as such funds currently allocated/collected for this purpose is inadequate. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pasay in session duly assembled to amend as it hereby amends Ordinance No. 214, Series of 1993, Section 62-B Article III of Pasay City Revenue Code include the imposition on garbage service charges as follows: "For every floor of building where the business is located with an aggregate area of: 1,000 sq. Meters or more P2,000.00/quarter 500 sq. Meters or more but less than 1,000 sq. M 1,500.00/quarter 200 sq. Meters or more but less than 500 sq. M 1,000.00/quarter 100 sq. Meters or more but less than 200 sq. M 800.00/quarter 50 sq Meters or more but less than 100 sq M 600.00/quarter 25 sq. Meters or more but less than 200 sq. M 400.00/quarter Less than 25 sq. Meters 200.00/quarter EFFECTIVITY This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pasay and the City Mayor, posting in two conspicuous places in the City and its publication once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City. cdll ENACTED in Pasay City, this 27th day of January in the Year of Our Lord Nineteen Hundred and Ninety-Eight.
