Amendment to Chapter 31, Section 151 (Municipal Hospital Service Fee - Blood Chemistry) of Navotas Revenue Code of 1992

August 23, 2004 NAVOTAS MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 012-04 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31, SECTION 151 OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 92-12 KNOWN AS NAVOTAS REVENUE CODE OF 1992 "THE MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL SERVICE FEE" (BLOOD CHEMISTRY) WHEREAS, under the Local Government Code each Local Government Unit shall exercise its power to create its own sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees and charges commensurate with the cost of regulation and licensing and/or service rendered. WHEREAS, the Navotas Revenue Code or Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 being implemented since 1992 is no longer effective now a days particularly Section 151 of Local Revenue Code. NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Bayan of Navotas, in session assembled, hereby enact this Ordinance. SECTION 1. Title . An Ordinance Amending Chapter 31, Section 151 of Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 Known As Navotas Revenue Code of 1992 "The Municipal Hospital Service Fee" (Blood Chemistry). SECTION 2. All persons required by existing Laws, Rules and Regulations to secure the Laboratory Examination from the Office of the Local Health Office shall pay the following: HEcTAI OLD: IV. LABORATORY EXAMINATION FEE: BLOOD CHEMISTRY Fasting Blood Sugar P40.00 BUN 60.00 Cholesterol 55.00 Creatinine 50.00 Uric Acid 50.00 TO THE NEW: IV. LABORATORY EXAMINATION FEE: BLOOD CHEMISTRY Fasting Blood Sugar P60.00 BUN 80.00 Cholesterol 80.00 Creatinine 80.00 Uric Acid 80.00 SECTION 3. Any provision of the Navotas Revenue Code or Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 that are inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
