Amendment to Chapter 29, Section 142 (Local Registry Fee) of the Navotas Revenue Code

April 18, 2005 NAVOTAS MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 004-05 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 29 SECTION 142 OF THE NAVOTAS REVENUE CODE OF 1992 OR PAMBAYANG ORDINANSA BLG. 92-12 "LOCAL REGISTRY FEE" Sponsored by the Committee on Ways and Means Chairman: Coun. Santos WHEREAS, pursuant to the Section 129 of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, 'each local government unit shall exercise its power to create its own sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees and charges subject to the provision herein, consistent with the basic policy of local autonomy.' Such taxes, fees and charges shall accrue exclusively to the local government units; WHEREAS, the Navotas Revenue Code or Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 being implemented since 1992 is no longer effective now a days particularly section 142 of Local Revenue Code; NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Bayan of Navotas, in session assembled hereby enact this ordinance: SECTION 1. Title . An ordinance amending Chapter 29 Section 142 of the Navotas Revenue Code of 1992 or Pambayang Ordinansa Blg. 92-12 "Local Registry Fees". SECTION 2. All person required by existing Laws, Rules and Regulations to secure services rendered by the Office of the Local Civil Registrar shall pay the following fee: OLD: FOR FILING FEES 1. Annulment of Marriage Php200.00 2. Decree of Adoption Php50.00 3. Election of Philippine Citizenship Php200.00 4. Legal Separation Php150.00 5. Divorce Php150.00 6. Judicial Recognition Php30.00 7. Guardianship Php50.00 8. Aliases Php150.00 9. Repatriation Php150.00 10. Judicial order for correction of entry Php100.00 FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES (SERVICE FEE) 1. Legitimation -0- 2. Acknowledgement -0- 3. Filiation -0- 4. For out-of-town reporting of vital events -0- FOR PENALTY FOR DELAYED REGISTRATION OF a. Birth -0- b. Marriage -0- c. Any provision of the Navotas Revenue Code or Pambayang Ordinansa Blg. 92-12 that are inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
