Amendment to Chapter 31, Section 151 (Municipal Hospital Service Fee) of Navotas Revenue Code of 1992

April 15, 2003 NAVOTAS MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 004-03 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 SECTION 151 OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 92-12 KNOWN AS NAVOTAS REVENUE CODE OF 1992 "THE IMPOSITION OF MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL SERVICE FEE" WHEREAS, under the Local Government Code each Local Government Unit shall exercise its power to create its own sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees and charges commensurate with the cost of regulation and licensing and/or service rendered. cHaDIA WHEREAS, the Navotas Revenue Code or Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 being implemented since 1992 is no longer effective now a days particularly Section 151 of Local Revenue Code. NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Bayan of Navotas, in session assembled, hereby enact this ordinance; SECTION 1. Title . An ordinance amending Chapter 31 Section 151 of Municipal Ordinance No. 92-12 also known as Navotas Revenue Code of 1992 "the imposition of municipal hospital service fee". SECTION 2. The following schedule of fees is hereby imposed for services or facilities rendered by the Municipal Lying-In Clinic. HaIESC OLD: 1. MEDICAL FEES: IN PATIENTS: 1) Ward (Room) P30.00 2) Delivery Room 110.00 3) Normal Delivery (Exclusive Medicine) 330.00 NEW: 1. MEDICAL FEES: IN PATIENTS: 1) Normal Delivery, Ward & Delivery Room 750.00 (Exclusive Medicine) SECTION 3. Any provision of the Navotas Revenue Code or Pambayang Ordinansa Blg. 92-12 that are inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly. SECTION 4. That after this Ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
