Teves WHEREAS , Section 15 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that, every local government unit created or recognized under this Code is a body politic and corporate endowed with the powers to be exercised by it in conformity with law; WHEREAS , under Republic Act No. 7160 , otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that, "the City Government is authorized to create its own sources of revenues to defray the expenses of government" ; WHEREAS , the Assessor's Office proposed an increase of Secretary's Fees/Certification Fees to be charged on the various documents issued by the said office; WHEREAS , Certification of no Real Property fees shall be collected only if used for legal and other purposes while those used for medical/hospital purposes, shall otherwise be free of charge; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, AS IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED , by the 5th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Muntinlupa in session assembled that: SECTION 1. This ordinance shall be known as "an ordinance amending Article III, Section 88 (a, b, c, d and e) of Ordinance No. 02-076, otherwise known as the Revenue Code of Muntinlupa." SECTION 2. Article III, Section 88 (A, B, C, D, and E) of Ordinance No. 02-076, which read as follows Secretary's Fee of the Assessors Office current fees is chargeable as follows: Secretary's Fees/Certification Fees Current Amount Transfer of Tax Declaration Php50.00 Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration Php12.00 True Copy of Tax Declaration N/A Sketch Plan Php12.00 Tax Mapping Verification None Certification of No Improvements Php10.00 Certification of Landholdings Php15.00 Other Certification Php60.00 Certification of No. Real Property Php15.00 Article III, Section 88 (A, B, C, D, and E) of Ordinance No. 02-076, is hereby amended and shall now be read as follows : Secretary's Fees/Certification Fees New Amount of Fees Transfer of Tax Declaration Php100.00 Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration Php50.00 True Copy of Tax Declaration Php20.00 Sketch Plan Php50.00 Tax Mapping Verification Php100.00 Certification of No Improvements Php50.00 Certification of Landholdings Php50.00 Other Certification Php75.00 Certification of No. Real Property Php50.00 SECTION 3. Effectivity Clause. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after it has been published on a newspaper of general circulation.
