MONKAYO MUNICIPAL TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2019-02 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING FURTHERMORE MUNICIPAL TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2018-01 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVISED MUNICIPAL REVENUE CODE OF 2018, INCORPORATING UNDER ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER III AS "FACILITY II" THEREOF SHARED SERVICE FACILITY (SSF) FOR JEWELRY MAKING, AFTER SECTION 5I.10 THEREOF, PROVIDING MECHANISMS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES Author: Hon. Raul B. Basaes Co-Author: Hon. Domingo M. Estrada Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province, in Session assembled, that: SECTION I. Title . This ordinance shall be known as AN ORDINANCE AMENDING FURTHERMORE MUNICIPAL TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2018-01 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVISED MUNICIPAL REVENUE CODE OF 2018, INCORPORATING UNDER ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER III AS "FACILITY II" THEREOF SHARED SERVICE FACILITY (SSF) FOR JEWELRY MAKING, AFTER SECTION 5I.10 THEREOF, PROVIDING MECHANISMS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. SECTION II. Amendatory Provision . There is hereby amended furthermore, by incorporation, additional provision after Section 5I.10 of Article I of Chapter III as "FACILITY II" SHARED SERVICE FACILITY (SSF) FOR JEWELRY MAKING, to be read as follows: "SECTION 5I.11. THE SHARED SERVICE FACILITY (SSF) FOR JEWELRY MAKING is denominated as FACILITY II, with the following regulations: Section 5I.12. REGULATIONS. The following Rules and Regulations shall be observed in the management and use of the Shared Service Facility (SSF) for Jewelry Making of the LGU: 1. The Municipal Government of Monkayo shall designate Shared Service Facility (SSF) Incharge to take charge in the operation of the SSF; 2. Any Jeweler or User who intends to use the SSF shall fill-out the "JEWELRY EQUIPMENT USE REQUEST FORM" to be secured at the Jewelry Center-SSF Incharge subject to approval of the PESO; 3. The Jeweller/User shall pay the necessary fee prior to use of the facility/ies at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer; 4. Tables and chairs and any item belonging to the SSF shall not be brought outside except with the proper permission from the PESO; 5. All collections shall accrue to the SSF Trust Fund of the LGU. SECTION 5I.13. SCHEDULE OF FEES (for Maintenance and other charges as to category/gram per item): METAL LABOR FOR ACTUAL CASTING AND PREPARATION LABOR FOR CLEANING AFTER CASTING AND CHAIN CONSUMABLE MATERIALS SSF LGU SSF LGU 1. Silver P2.00 P10.00 P5.00 P5.00 P5.00 2. Gold P4.00 P20.00 P30.00 P10.00 P10.00 5I.13.1 The jeweler/user shall likewise pay the cost of electricity in the amount of P2.00 per hour. 5I.13.2 If the jeweler or the user shall shoulder all the consumable materials, only maintenance fees shall be charged. SECTION 5I.14. PENAL CLAUSE. Any person who violates any provision of this Article shall be punished by a fine of not less than FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P500.00), but not more than TWO THOUSAND PESOS (P2,000.00), or an imprisonment of not more than six (6) months or both at the discretion of the Court." SECTION III. Implementing Mechanism . The Office of the Municipal Mayor through the LGU-PESO and the Office of the Municipal Treasurer shall coordinate with each other in the smooth and efficient implementation of this Ordinance. CAIHTE SECTION IV. Effectivity . This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval. ENACTED AND PASSED this 19th day of March, 2019 at Monkayo, Compostela Valley Province. CARRIED.
