September 30, 1999 Excerpts from the Minutes of the Regular Session of the SB Members of Moncada, Tarlac Held on the 30th Day of September 1999 at the SB Session Hall. PRESENT: Vice-Mayor Jaime O. Alberto F. Morales Member Coun. Zosimo B. Cuchapin Member Coun. Dionisio S. Contawe, ABC President Member Coun. Warly P. Ocampo, SK President Member ABSENT: Coun. Ricardo D. Vengco Excused RESOLUTION NO. 064 WHEREAS, as provided for in the 1991 Local Government Code, particularly Section 129 thereof, the municipality could exercise its power to create its own sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees and other charges subject to provisions consistent with the basic policy of local autonomy; WHEREAS, one of the sources wherein to raise revenues is from wedding sponsors; NOW THEREFORE, on motion presented by Coun. CATALINO C. AGANAN, JR. and duly seconded; RESOLVED, to pass & approve, Tax Ordinance No. 4, S. 1999, to wit: MONCADA TAX ORDINANCE NO. 004-99 "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING THE PAYMENT OF SPONSOR'S FEE AT WEDDING SOLEMNIZED BY THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN IN SESSION ASSEMBLED: -THAT- SECTION 1. All wedding sponsors of weddings solemnized by the Municipal Mayor shall pay a sponsor's fee of Thirty Pesos (P30.00). SECTION 2. That said fee shall be paid prior to or after the wedding solemnization to the Municipal Treasurer or his duly authorized representative for proper receipting. cSaATC SECTION 3. That all revenues derived therefrom shall accrue to the Municipal Government. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval subject to its posting in the Municipal Bulletin Board of this municipality for thirty (30) days.
