Advisory on the Conduct of Annual Year-End Inventory of Duty-Free and Tax-Exempt Vehicles inside CFZ, Year 2013

January 6, 2014 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. ERD 02-14 TO : All Concerned CFZ-Registered Enterprises with Duty-Free Tax-Exempt Vehicles SUBJECT : Advisory on the Conduct of Annual Year-End Inventory of Duty-Free and Tax-Exempt Vehicles inside CFZ, Year 2013 1. Pursuant to Section VI of the Subic-Clark Joint Policy Guidelines on the Admission Privilege for Duty-Free and Tax-Exempt Motor Vehicles and Sec. 149 of RA 8424, an inventory inspection of all tax-exempt vehicles of CFZ-registered enterprises will be conducted jointly by an Inventory Team composed of representatives from Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Land Transportation Office (LTO). 2. The inspection will be conducted at the back of Building 2127, Ninoy Aquino Avenue, on January 27 to 31, 2014, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in accordance with the attached schedule. 3. In accordance with Section VII-3, of the Subic-Clark Joint Policy Guidelines on the Admission Privilege for Duty-Free and Tax-Exempt Motor Vehicles, failure of respective enterprises to have their duty-free and tax-exempt vehicles inventoried/inspected will be subjected to a fine of US$1,000.00/vehicle.
