August 5, 1994 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 98 REVOKING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO.90, DATED MAY 3, 1994 Pursuant to the fact that the government still owns a substantial share in Philippine Airlines (PAL) directly/indirectly comprising 46.4% and considering that PAL provides livelihood for 14,000 Filipino Families and it is to the interest of government to support its flag carrier, Memorandum Circular No. 90 dated May 3, 1994 is hereby revoked. cHTCaI This Memorandum requires officials and employees of the government, both national and local, including government-owned or controlled corporations, their subsidiaries and acquired assets on official trips, to travel via PAL or through its connections. This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately. Manila, August 5, 1994
