Creation of Committee to Study Reduction of Travel Tax of Philippine Exporters

August 7, 1992 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 4 There is hereby created a committee composed of the representatives of the following departments or agencies: 1. The Department of Finance 2. The Department of Tourism 3. The Export and Investment Development Council 4. The Bureau of Internal Revenue to study, consider, and submit a report with its recommendation, on the reduction of the travel tax payable by the Philippine exporters. The Committee shall select a chairman from among its members. The Committee may invite affected sectors in its deliberations and meetings and may call on any department, bureau, office or agency of the government for information and technical support as may be necessary.
