April 10, 2008 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 153 AUTHORIZING GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS (PDE) TO ATTEND ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS THE UP CENTENNIAL AND PDE NATIONAL LECTURE ON MAY 7, 2008 TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES The Program in Development Economics (PDE) of the University of the Philippines School of Economics (PDE) in cooperation with the University of the Philippines is organizing a UP Centennial Lecture and PDE National Lecture on Secular Morality and the University on May 7, 2008 at the UP National Institute of Science and Mathematics Education Auditorium, Diliman, Quezon City. The Lecture is part of the continuing education of the PDE participants that aims to upgrade their knowledge and skills in economic analysis and economic policymaking. In this connection, all government officials and employees who have participated in the Program in Development Economics of the UP School of Economics are hereby enjoined to attend this lecture series. Their attendance shall be considered on official business. Manila, April 10, 2008.
