Participation of Government Officials and Employees in the National Convention of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners

September 22, 2006 MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 115 AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION ON OFFICIAL TIME OF OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN VARIOUS NATIONAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS IN THE NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNERS The Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) will hold its National Convention on November 10 to 11, 2006, with the theme: "GO GREEN: PLANNING FOR A GREENER PHILIPPINES" at the Occupational Safety and Health Center, North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon, City. In support of the government's efforts towards a better Philippine environment, officials and employees in various national and local government units are hereby authorized to attend the above-mentioned Convention on official time only , at no cost to the government except payment of their salaries, provided that such attendance will not adversely affect the functions of their respective offices as well as the delivery of services to the public.
