April 18, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 193-60 The Postmaster General Bureau of Posts M a n i l a S i r : With reference to your letter dated April 5, 1960, requesting information as to whether or not the prize (each) to be received by a winning depositor of the Philippine Postal Bank in the promotional draw to be conducted sometime in June of this year by your bureau is subject to income tax, I have the honor to inform you in the affirmative.
