An Ordinance Imposing Secretary's Fees from Every Person or Entities Requesting for Copies of Official Records and Documents from the Office of the Sanggunian Secretary

September 17, 2014 MANDALUYONG CITY ORDINANCE NO. 565-14 AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING SECRETARY'S FEES FROM EVERY PERSON OR ENTITIES REQUESTING FOR COPIES OF OFFICIAL RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS FROM THE OFFICE OF THE SANGGUNIAN SECRETARY BE IT ENACTED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Mandaluyong, in session assembled: SECTION 1. Imposition of Fees . There shall be collected the following fees from every person requesting for copies of official records and documents from the Office of the Sanggunian Secretary: a. For Xerox copy or any other copy produced by copying machine. P3.00/page b. For each certificate of correctness (with seal of office) written on the copy or attached thereto. P5.00/page c. For issuance of certification for non-availability of record. P30.00 SECTION 2. Exemption . The fees imposed shall not be collected for copies furnished to other offices or branches of the government for official business except for copies required by the Court at the request of the litigants, in which case charges shall be made in accordance with the schedule in Section 1. SECTION 3. Time of Payment . The fees shall be paid to the City Treasurer at the time of the request, written or otherwise, for the issuance of the copy of any City record or document is made. SECTION 4. Repealing Clause . Ordinance No. 291, S-2004 and any Ordinance not consistent with the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby repealed. SECTION 5. Effectivity . This Ordinance shall take effect upon approval. ENACTED on this 17th day of September, 2014 in the City of Mandaluyong.
