Producers of film entries to the 2003 Manila Film Festival including owners, lessees or operators of theaters/cinemas exhibiting such films are hereby exempted from payment of amusement tax, due or accruing to the City for the duration of the film festival from June 11-24, 2003. SECTION 2. Movie producers of film entries and owners, lessees, or operators of theaters/cinemas shall be issued a Certificate of Exemption duly signed by the City Mayor and the City Treasurer of Manila. SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. All Ordinances, Executive Orders or other issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 4. Effectivity Clause. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval. Enacted by the City Council of Manila at its regular session today, June 5, 2003. Approved by His Honor, the Mayor on, July 2, 2003.
