For every tax period, the Treasurer's Office shall prepare a stratified schedule of "presumptive income level" to approximate the gross receipt of each business classification. [The PIL technique makes use of easily verifiable indicators as means for determining gross sales. It is based on logical assumptions that do not require monitoring of business establishments nor financial audit and complicated computation. The indicators can be in the form of estimated daily sales/gross receipts, average number of customers, estimates of inventories, inventory turnover and mark-ups, space occupied, occupancy rates, and others. The indicators will also depend on the nature of the business. The major consideration in identifying possible indicators should be that these are easy to quantify, verifiable, common for the business, and acceptable to both the LGU and the taxpayers.] SECTION 34.
