August 20, 1993 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 029-93 SUBJECT : Requirements for Subsidy Availment Applications BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to amend FIRB Resolution No. 29-90, as amended by FIRB Resolution Nos. 33-90 and 2-93 (Additional requirements for subsidy availment applications) to read, as follows: "BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That pursuant to Rule III of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93, there is hereby added to the requirements for subsidy availment applications the following: 1. Opinion of the Corporate Affairs Group of the Department of Finance; 2. Copy of the latest Income Tax Return duly filed with the Bureau of Internal Revenue; 3. Statement under oath of the details of investments made by the applicants, including income therefrom. 4. IN THE CASE OF APPLICATIONS FOR TAX SUBSIDY TO COVER TAXES AND DUTIES ON IMPORTED ARTICLES, CERTIFICATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY TO THE EFFECT THAT THE IMPORTED ARTICLES ARE NOT PRODUCED LOCALLY IN COMPARABLE QUALITY AND PRICE AND AVAILABLE IN QUANTITIES RELATIVELY SUFFICIENT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE APPLICANTS: PROVIDED , HOWEVER , THAT THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT SHALL NOT APPLY IN CASE OF DONATIONS, AND PROJECT/PROGRAM AND/OR LOAN AGREEMENTS, WITH PROVISIONS OF IMPORTED ARTICLES THEREUNDER.
