August 22, 1996 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 027-96 SUBJECT : National Food Authority (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the application for subsidy availment of the National Food Authority in the amount of P4,016,954,803 only , representing the duties due on the emergency importation of rice for the years 1995 and 1996, pursuant to an authority to import from the Office of the President, in accordance with the following breakdown: Balance of the 1995 importations P117,778,221 1996 importations 3,899,176,582 P4,016,954,803 ============ Provided , That such availment shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 12 of the 1996 General Appropriations Act, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to defer action on it's request for tax subsidy covering the duties due on the emergency importation of corn for the year 1996, pending submission of documentation requirements therefor to the FIRB.
