September 13, 1994 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 026-94 SUBJECT : Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the application for subsidy availment of the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority in the amount of P65,085,478 only , representing the duties due on fertilizer importations coursed through it, broken down as follows: for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 1992, P35,549,828.00 only; and for the year 1993, P29,535,650.00 only: Provided , That the availment thereof shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 15 of the 1994 General Appropriations Act, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93; Provided, however , That prospective applications for tax subsidy by the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority shall not be acted upon by the FIRB until the former has conducted field surveys of farmers benefited by tax subsidy, indicating among others, the effects on fertilizer prices of such tax subsidy, and a report thereon submitted to the FIRB for its own consideration.
