June 4, 1993 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 021-93 SUBJECT : Light Rail Transit Authority (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to endorse to the Department of Budget and Management the subsidy availment of the Light Rail Transit Authority in the amount of P44 . 86 million only , consisting of: P13.57 million only, representing the balance of subsidy availment previously renewed therefor pursuant to the terms and conditions of FIRB Resolution No. 10-93 (Endorsing to the Department of Budget and Management the renewal of the subsidy availment previously granted to the Light Rail Transit Authority to cover the taxes and duties due on its importations of equipment and spare parts, relative to its light rail transit operations for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 1992); and P31 . 29 million only, representing the taxes and duties due on its importations of equipment and spare parts, broken down as follows: (1) P23 . 46 million only, for the rehabilitation of the LRT line; and (2) P7 . 83 million only, for regular maintenance of the LRT system: Provided , That the availment thereof shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 15 of the 1993 General Appropriations Act, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to revoke the effects of FIRB Resolution No. 10-93 and the corresponding Certificate of Entitlement to Subsidy No. 0112 therefor. (SGD.)
