August 2, 1991 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 018-91 SUBJECT : National Kidney Institute (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to amend FIRB Resolution No. 54-90, previously issued in favor of National Kidney Institute, as follows: "BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to endorse to the Department of Budget and Management the subsidy availment of the National Kidney Institute in the amount of P5,380,287 . 00 only, representing the taxes and duties due on its importations of medical equipment and supplies for the years 1990 AND 1991: P rovided , That such amount shall be chargeable against the 1991 Tax Expenditures Fund, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93: Provided, Further , That on a prospective basis, the beneficiary shall undertake efforts and initiatives to source its requirements of medical equipment and supplies from local manufacturers whenever the same are available."
