April 7, 1995 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 015-95 SUBJECT : Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the application for subsidy availment of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, in the amount of P30,290,179 . 50 only , representing the taxes and duties due on its importations of 300 units of KIA BESTA ambulances which shall in turn be donated to different government agencies, hospitals, health centers, municipal offices and other charitable institutions: Provided , That the PCSO shall submit to the FIRB the details of the disposition/distribution of such ambulances, specifying, among others, the name of the agency-recipient thereof and the number of units of ambulances received by it and which details shall be in turn used by the FIRB as basis for adding back to its internal cap on tax subsidy approvals for the year 1995 whatever amount of taxes and duties may have been due on units of ambulances donated by the PCSO to government agencies and local government units: Provided , further That the PCSO shall set up a system by which to monitor and/or track down the utilization of said ambulances by the agency-recipient thereof in order to prevent/minimize abuses/leakages thereabout: Provided , furthermore That such availment shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 12 of the 1995 General Appropriations Act, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision Under Executive Order No. 93. aisadc (SGD.)
