1985 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 014-85 WHEREAS, the Fiscal Incentives Review Board created under Presidential Decree No. 776 is tasked with the function of determining what tax and duty exemption privileges withdrawn by Presidential Decree Nos. 1931 and 1955 may be restored to affected government-owned and controlled corporations and private entities; WHEREAS, to be able to discharge this function, the Board has created a Technical Committee for the purpose of evaluating petitions for restoration of withdrawn tax and duty exemption privileges; WHEREAS, the Technical Committee in coordination with the Secretariat have been involved in this evaluation process on a regular basis; WHEREAS, in consideration of this involvement, the members, technical as well as clerical support of the Technical Committee and the Secretariat incur additional expenses in the performance of their additional duties.
