April 13, 1987 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 005-87 BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That the exemption from all taxes, duties and charges on items/commodities purchased by the New Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissary and Exchange Service and the Philippine Constabulary/Integrated National Police Service Stores System and subsequently sold by such outlets to their intended beneficiaries granted under the terms and conditions of Executive Order No. 76 remains withdrawn. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That in view of the withdrawal of such tax and duty exemption privileges, a system of provisional benefits to the intended beneficiaries of the NAFPCES and the PC/INP SSS through a budgetary appropriation to the amount of fifty million pesos (P50,000,000) automatically payable to the Department of National Defense, is hereby endorsed: Provided , That the Department of National Defense in consultation with the NAFPCES and the PC/INP SSS shall device a system by which their respective beneficiaries shall avail of the budgetary appropriation herein referred to in an equitable manner. BE IT FURTHERMORE RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That pending the release of the said budgetary appropriation, the exemption from all taxes, duties and charges provided under the terms and conditions of Executive Order No. 76 is temporarily restored effective March 10, 1987.
