May 15, 1997 FIRB RESOLUTION NO. 003-97 SUBJECT : Light Rail Transit Authority (1) BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to renew the balance of tax subsidy previously granted in favor of the Light Rail Transit Authority, pursuant to FIRB Resolution No. 33-96 (Granting tax subsidy in favor of the Light Rail Transit Authority in the amount of P29.964 million only, representing the taxes and duties due on its importation of spare parts and equipment for the rehabilitation program and regular maintenance and operation of the LRT system), in the amount of P24.13 million only,: Provided , that such availment shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of Section 13 of the 1997 General Appropriations Act, subject to the availability of funds therefor, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Rules and Regulations to Implement the Subsidy Provision under Executive Order No. 93.
