November 4, 1975 EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 457 SUSPENDING THE EXPORT DUTY ON GOLD AS PROVIDED UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINETEENHUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE TARIFFAND CUSTOMSCODE OF THE PHILIPPINES, AS AMENDED Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Section 515 of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Seven, as amended, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby direct and order: SECTION 1. Effective upon the issuance of this Order, gold shall be excluded from the list of products subject to export tariff as provided under Section 514 of Republic Act No. 1937, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 230. SECTION 2. This suspension order shall remain effective until revoked by me upon the recommendation of the National Economic and Development Authority. DONE in the City of Manila, this 4th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Five.
