November 26, 1970 EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 276 MODIFYING THERATES OF IMPORT DUTY ON CERTAIN IMPORTED ARTICLES AS PROVIDED UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINETEENHUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMSCODE OF THE PHILIPPINES, AS AMENDED Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Section 401 of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Seven, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby direct and order: SECTION 1. The articles specifically listed hereunder as classified under Section 401 of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen Hundred Thirty-Seven shall pay the following rates of import duty: T.H. No. Description of Articles Rate of Duty 11.01 Cereal Flours: A. Wheat flour 1. Flour for glue extender or binder properly colored or denatured to render it inedible when imported directly by bonafide ply- wood manufacturers for their exclusive use in the manufacture of plywood upon certification by the Tariff Commission g.w. 100 kgs. P2.50 2. Flour for macaroni and spaghetti when imported directly by bonafide macaroni and spaghetti manufacturers for their exclusive use in the manufacture of such products upon certification by the Tariff Commission g.w. 100 kgs. P2.50 3. Other g.w. 100 kgs. P12.00 or ad val. 35% B. . . . C. . . . 11.07 Malt, unroasted or roasted but not further processed ad val. 20% 12.06 Hop cones and lupulin ad val. 20% 48.01 Paper and paperboard (including cellulose wadding) machine made: A. After the expiration of thirty (30) days from the issuance of this Order, all the above-described articles entered or withdrawn from warehouses, in the Philippines, for consumption shall be subject to the rates of import duty herein prescribed. SECTION 3. Any unwarranted increase in prices of local products benefited by these tariff changes may be sufficient ground for the revocation of such tariff changes.
