RESOLUTION NO. 135, S. 2013 (Authored by Councilor Noel C. de Jesus) "WHEREAS , the Local Health Board , through the City Health Officer II, Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla, MD, MPH is proposing fees for Diagnostic Procedures and Laboratory Screening. She recommended also, increasing the fees for the Anti-Rabies Vaccines and imposing fee for the Normal Delivery (non-residents of Dumaguete) ; WHEREAS , there is a need to amend the Updated Omnibus Tax Ordinance specifically under Section 69 (h)-II. City Health Annex Birthing Service Fee , of Ordinance No. 139, S-2008 , to incorporate the recommended fees. ASEcHI IN VIEW THEREOF , on motion of Councilor Noel C. de Jesus , duly seconded by Councilors Esperidion V. Catan and Jose Victor V. Imbo , the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to enact the following ordinance: DUMAGUETE CITY ORDINANCE NO. 027-13 AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 139, SERIES OF 2008, ENTITLED "THE UPDATED OMNIBUS TAX ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUMAGUETE," SPECIFICALLY SECTION 69 (h)-II. CITY HEALTH ANNEX BIRTHING SERVICE FEE, BY IMPOSING FEES FOR DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES AND LABORATORY SCREENING AND INCREASING OTHER FEES THEREOF Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Dumaguete, that : SECTION 1. Item No. 22. (p) Clinical Services under Section 69 (h)-II. City Health Annex Birthing Service Fee of Ordinance No. 139, series of 2008 , is hereby amended by imposing fee for the Normal Delivery ( non-residents ) , to read: 22. (p) Clinical Services: 1) Registration P20.00 (Existing Fee) 2) Normal Delivery Fee: Dumaguete Residents P500.00 (Existing Fee) Non-Residents P1,000.00 (New Fee) 3) Abnormal Delivery P1,000.00 (Existing Fee) SECTION 2. Item No. 23. Anti-Rabies Vaccination Fee (for Animal Bites) under the same Section 69 (h)-II of said ordinance, as amended by Ordinance No. 105, series of 2009, is hereby further amended by increasing its fees, to read: cTDaEH 23. Section 69 (h)-II. City Health Annex Birthing Service Fee of Ordinance No. 139, series of 2008 , is hereby further amended by adding Diagnostic Procedures and Laboratory Screening Fees , to be assigned as No. 25 , to read: x x x (24. Effectivity . This ordinance shall take effect after certified true copies of this ordinance are published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Province of Negros Oriental. APPROVED .
