August 14, 2008 DOTC DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 035-08 SUBJECT : Collection of Documentary Stamp Tax Pursuant to Section 188 of the National Internal Revenue Code of the Philippines, all sectoral/regional offices and attached agencies of the Department are hereby directed to collect documentary stamp tax of Fifteen Pesos (P15.00) on each and every certificate of any description required by law or regulations to be issued for the purpose of giving information or establishing proof of fact, and not otherwise specified therein. All orders and issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded or modified accordingly. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) LEANDRO R. MENDOZA Secretary
