Amendment to Regulations No. 47

December 28, 1931 DOF REGULATIONS NO. 072-31 1 SUBJECT : Amendment to Regulations No. 47 TO : All Internal-Revenue Officers and Others Concerned SECTION 1. Regulations No. 47 is hereby amended by the insertion therein of section 11 1/2 to read as follows: SEC. 11 1/2. Partially manufactured products of tobacco exported to the United States. Cagayan and Isabela tobacco may be mixed if exported to the United States in partially manufactured forms as stemmed leaf, long filler, short filler, or scrap, but tobacco from either Cagayan or Isabela in such partially manufactured form should not be mixed with tobacco from another province or district of origin. To distinguish the origin, stemmed leaf, long filler, short filler, or scrap tobacco exported to the United States should bear clearly on the bales or containers the name of the province of origin, in such manner as "Cagayan short fillers," "Isabela-Cagayan scraps," "Pangasinan stemmed leaf," or "La Union long fillers," as the case may be.
