August 15, 1931 DOF REGULATIONS NO. 070-31 1 SUBJECT : Assessment and Charge on Barks for Cutch TO : All Internal-Revenue Officers and Others Concerned SECTION 1. Section 1 of Regulations No. 61, as amended by Regulations No. 63, extending the provisions of Regulations No. 18, as amended, so as to include barks for cutch, is hereby amended to read as follows: CIcTAE SEC. 1. Under the authority of section 79 (B) of the Administrative Code, as amended by section 2 of Act No. 2803, and in accordance with the provisions of section 1516 of the said Code, Regulations No. 18, as amended, are hereby extended to include barks for cutch, the market value and rate of charge hereafter to be paid being assessed as follows: Product Unit Assessment Charge Bark for cutch Green 100 kilos P0.80 P0.08 Dry do 1.50 .15 Provided, however , That in the case of barks obtained from trees cut under a Bureau of Forestry firewood license the same may, when so authorized in the said license, be collected for the manufacture of tanning or dyeing materials, free of forest charges. SECTION 2. This new assessment shall take effect thirty days after its promulgation in the Official Gazette. Manila, August 15, 1931.
