Beltran Undersecretary SUBJECT : Request for Department Order to Support Thunderclap Tax Reform Online Petition One of the biggest hurdles we face in our tax reform program is getting the support of the public. The Department is currently utilizing various social media platforms to reach the public and we believe that the Department of Finance (DOF) and its attached agencies would be a valuable resource for this. In line with this, we kindly ask you to solicit the support of employees from DOF and its attached agencies by requesting them to support the Thunderclap campaign. The Thunderclap campaign is a very simple but powerful tool which allows us to reach a massive amount of people. Once someone signs up with their social media account, it will automatically post a message showing support for the tax reform, ensuring that their support reaches the maximum number of people. For easier facilitation, attached is a step-by-step guide on how to sign up for the Thunderclap page. Upon release of the Department Order, we would also like to request that our Central Management Information Office temporarily allow access to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr to give DOF employees ample time to sign the petition and share their support for the tax reform.
